We had a wonderful time in Florida! We went to all the Disney Parks before race day and enjoyed character dining, shows, food, attractions, and wearing our princess tiaras!
The Princess Half Marathon Expo was HUGE. Definitely twice the size as Disneyland's. We decided to wear the shirts they gave us instead of buying new ones. But we did get our famous "I Did It" shirts!
Running in Florida was definitely different. It was very foggy and misty. The water seemed to stay in the air until the end. I couldn't tell if I was sweating or was just wet from the water. It was pretty gross! The course was a lot more hilly than in California. It was also very narrow in some areas.
At the finish-line, my favorite part was being sprinkled by glitter! It was so cute! We tried to do a repeat picture of our original one on RunDisney from the Tinker Bell Half. I think we did a pretty good job.
This run seemed to go by a lot faster than my first half marathon. I was not as exhausted and I wasn't as sore the next day. Of course, not being injured helped!
